A lover of film with a soft spot for indie theaters like the Music Box, she pairs her cinematic taste with a passion for stationery, journaling, and creative crafts. As a professional colorist, she doesn’t lean toward any one type of hair color service. Instead, she’s most drawn to creating something that’s thoughtfully tailored to each client’s personality and lifestyle. As a devoted cat mom to two mischievous felines with dog-like personalities, her home life is as lively as her imagination. The youngest of three siblings, she’s got little sister charm with big curiosity—especially when it comes to travel, with Tokyo and Greece calling her next.

We know that the real magic starts when focusing on within ourselves, while having the right haircut is the cherry on top, the final spark that makes someone glow. Nearing 50, she's fully embracing the wisdom and self-assurance that comes with age, and she loves helping clients do the same—especially those navigating hair changes with humor and grace. Her chair is a safe haven for the slightly offbeat, the beautifully weird, the proudly middle-aged who still want to have fun with their look, without the pressure. Back in 2010, Jessica kick-started her hair journey at the Aveda Institute in Chicago, and she hasn’t looked back since! Always eager to learn and grow, she regularly pursues advanced education with some of the industry's leading names. Jessica has dived into all kinds of hair education—attending classes like Shu Uemura’s Updo & Braids, Vidal Sassoon’s ABCs of Cutting, and Bumble’s courses on men’s styles, razors, pixies, and curly hair. She even got the scoop at the American Crew Academy!

What Jessica loves most is creating that effortless, lived-in look that makes you feel great with minimal fuss. She really believes in connecting with her clients, taking the time to listen to their needs, and getting to know them personally. That’s what makes a haircut with Jessica such a special experience!

When she's not at the salon, you can find Jessica having fun with her adorable toddler, binge-watching crime shows, tuning into business podcasts, meditating, or sipping coffee alongside her two mischievous cats and one lovable shelter dog.

Originally from Des Moines, Jo graduated from the Aveda Institute in Minneapolis in 2003 and has been making clients look and feel their best since. With over 20 years of experience behind the chair, she specializes in precision hair cutting, effortless styling, and creating timeless bridal looks. Jo believes great hair should be beautiful and easy to live in. Her approach blends creativity with real-life practicality, ensuring every style fits her clients' lifestyles while still feeling modern and fresh. Known for her friendly energy and down-to-earth personality, Jo creates a relaxed, enjoyable salon experience from start to finish. When she's not in the salon, you can find her training for her next race, planning a getaway to the nearest beach, or curled up with a good book and a strong cup of coffee. She also loves live music, checking out new restaurants, cheering on her favorite sports teams: the Iowa Hawkeyes, Chicago Bears and Indiana Fever. KATIE GREEN (she/her)

Always knowing she wanted to be in the hair industry, Katie attended cosmetology school immediately after graduating early from high school. For over 15+ years, she has focused on men’s hairstyles and has become a master at barbering. Her work has been featured in multiple American Crew videos and photo shoots. Katie cuts folks of all gender expressions yet is focused on barber styles —fades, tapers, pompadours, and shags, which are her personal favorites! While she grew up on a farm in Monee, Katie spent much of her time on the Southside of Chicago at her grandparents' auto body shop in Marquette Park. Finding her home in the Chicago punk scene in her early 20s, she eventually moved to the city. After spending 12 years living on the Northside, Katie and her husband recently purchased their first home, built in 1885, in McKinley Park, close to where her family’s auto body shop once stood. Currently, most of her free time is spent being a Mama to her daughter, Daisy Jade, and their 3rd rescue Rott/Bernie mix named Boone Boy. Katie also has her license as a Real Estate Broker, fueling her love for old, charming houses, which she also squeezes in her very little spare time!

After completing a colorist apprenticeship in 2008, I’ve specialized in color work, with a particular love for creating natural, effortless looks. While I enjoy the occasional creative color, my real passion lies in crafting shades that make people ask, “Is that your natural color?”—especially when it comes to blondes and coppers. I’m a proud single, childfree cat lady who finds joy in thrifting, staging my home with my treasures, dopamine dressing when needed, taking sunset walks, summer trips to Door County (DoCo, babyyyy 🤙), and indulging in true crime documentaries. Known for being a great listener, I strive to make everyone in my chair feel safe, comfortable, and supported—with a touch of silliness and a lot of authenticity.
